Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the FreeUp Cleaner mobile application for Android devices and the FreeUp Cleaner product website. FreeUp Cleaner is created and operated by Feng Li Jin under the Byte Nomad brand as an ad supported service. The service is intended for use as is.

Information Collection and Use

The Application may collect information when you download and use it. This information may include your device Internet Protocol address, the pages or screens that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages or screens, and the operating system used on your mobile device.

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

The Service Provider may use information you provide to contact you from time to time with important information, required notices, or marketing promotions where permitted.

File Processing and Storage Access

FreeUp Cleaner is a storage cleaning utility. File scanning, storage analysis, file preview, and deletion decisions are designed to happen on your device. The app helps identify files such as cache, large files, APK files, screenshots, and other storage-heavy items. You remain responsible for reviewing selected files before deletion.

Third-Party Services

Only aggregated or anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help improve the Application and service. The Application uses third-party services that have their own privacy policies.

Website Analytics

The FreeUp Cleaner website may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, visits, referral sources, approximate country or region, device and browser categories, page load performance, and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to operate without using cookies or collecting information intended to identify individual visitors.

Disclosure

The Service Provider may disclose user provided and automatically collected information when required by law, when disclosure is necessary to protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, respond to a government request, or with trusted service providers who work on behalf of the Service Provider and agree to follow the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or through the mobile application marketplace.

Data Retention

The Service Provider retains user provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you would like user provided data deleted, contact knightflj@gmail.com.

Children

The Application is not directed to children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that a child has provided personal information, they should contact the Service Provider so appropriate action can be taken.

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information that is processed and maintained.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. You are advised to review this page regularly for changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes where permitted by law.
